Giraffes stick their necks out
“Heroes,” said former Oregon Governor Tom McCall, “are not giant statues framed against a red sky. They are people who say ‘This is my community and it’s my responsibility to make it better.’” For three decades the Giraffe Heroes Project has been shining the light on people who stick their neck out for others. We also meet an emerging hero from Southern Oregon’s Kids Unlimited.
